Our Mission and Culture
CSPE provides specialist alternative provision, private tuition, and education consultancy, with a strong—but not exclusive—SEND focus. Founded by educators and parents of neurodiverse children, our trauma-informed and compassionate culture is shaped by lived experience.
We believe learning happens best when children feel safe, understood, and supported. Rather than lowering expectations, we adapt our delivery so every learner can thrive.
If you are committed to helping young people feel confident, valued, and optimistic about their futures, we would love to hear from you.

Why Work With Us?
- Purposeful, learner-centred practice, with 1:1 and small-group teaching that allows you to work relationally and see genuine progress
- A collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment, where professional expertise is valued, shared, and supported
- The opportunity to make a lasting difference, supporting young people to rebuild confidence, self-belief, and positive outcomes
- A safe, well-governed, and supportive workplace, underpinned by strong safeguarding, wellbeing, and professional standards
Work in Our Alternative Provision (Daytime)
Are you a teacher, SEND Learning Support Assistant, or therapeutic mentor passionate about supporting vulnerable young people?
Our daytime Alternative Provision supports learners aged 11–18, including EOTAS and EBSNA students, in a therapeutic, neurodiversity-affirming environment that bridges mainstream and specialist SEND education.
Guided by our core principles—“Regulation before expectation” and “Ambition without exception”—we maintain high academic standards while using trauma-informed approaches to help students re-engage with learning up to GCSE / Level 2.
You will:
- Work within a high staff-to-learner ratio (mainly 1:1 for academic subjects, maximum 1:5 for non-academic)
- Deliver highly individualised, regulation-first learning and therapeutic sessions
- Support neurodiverse learners to build confidence, self-advocacy, and successful transitions
- Working collaboratively with children, parents, and education authorities to create workable, realistic, and highly individualised plans.

Our evening tuition supports children and young people aged 7–18, providing a calm, nurturing space where learners can rebuild confidence, enjoy learning, and achieve academic success. Sessions are thoughtfully tailored to each student, supporting both progress and wellbeing.
Working with us in this role means helping learners navigate academic challenges at their own pace, while feeling understood, encouraged, and supported.
You will:
- Deliver 1:1 or small-group tuition from primary through to A-Level, across a range of subjects (dependant upon your professional experience)
- Build subject understanding, effective exam skills, and academic confidence
- Support learners to manage pressure and develop a positive relationship with learning
- Work flexibly within an inclusive, wellbeing-focused environment that values both outcomes and emotional health
If you enjoy forming supportive relationships and helping young people grow in confidence as well as learning, this role may be a natural fit.
